Yes I hope, but I don't see it happening. Creators will go where the masses are and where the money is.

Invidious is good for web, but may be dead soon. I really like newpipe with sponsorblock enabled. I pulled my subscriptions from YT and imported them to newpipe.
I'm rocking an older pixel. I got it on swappa for cheap. I rather send my money to someone other than G.
CalyxOS and grapheneos are great options. The multiple user feature is useful if you want to keep work apps, bank apps, etc separate from other apps.
Uber and lyft both work on web mobile. Still a good reason to not use uber though.
