This is world news? Who cares what one doctor says?

Never tried it outside of the USA, couldn't tell ya.
Never heard of this. Sounds useful, except I'm really only buying something from them because I need it quickly most of the time. I don't have the convenience of waiting for price drops like I do with Steam games haha. Thanks for sharing!
Best value? I'd say it's A1!
Fakespot was kinda nice, whenever I looked at something on amazon I'd get a sidebar showing which reviews are real and summarizing them. It's actually pretty useful. Definitely will not miss Pocket.
I don't use it and I avoid the hundreds of vapid articles about it on my tech news sites. So I'm less depressed about AI but still depressed about how stupid the people are that use it.
It's not dead until I stop getting 10 year old outdated answers in my searches!
My friend and I saw a ghost, and we don't believe in that nonsense. Late one night we were playing Starcraft in my room which is set up so a window looks into a hallway that leads to a courtyard and then into the main house. We heard the gate click open as someone approached so we looked at the hallway window and both saw what looked like a tall person in a plain white shirt with indistinguishable features. The face was blurry, I couldn't tell you what color skin this person had. My friend immediately opened the blinds to the courtyard to see who was here so late, but there was nothing. We walked out to the courtyard and looked around and couldn't see anyone or anything. There's no way for a person to hide anywhere here except for walking back out which we would have seen. I still can't explain it today. Maybe it was a plastic bag blowing past the window, but then what caused the gate to open and make noise?
I don't like the Epic Game Store because Epic has turned it's back on Linux. Their client doesn't run on Linux which is where I do all my gaming. I also recognize the economic fuckery they're doing to gain popularity. They're spending their Fortnite war chest money on subsidizing games to give them away for the purpose of monopolizing their game store. It's not fair for other game stores like GOG who can't just buy game licenses for everyone to become popular.
I hate console gamers as they've perverted the FPS genre.
2 chicks at the same time.
I'm a Linux gamer with a Youtube dedicated to competitive Starcraft 2: https://youtube.com/@jthundley
I automated making and uploading these videos which is half the fun. Now I just press a button to start recording, press a button to stop, a couple of scripts do the rest :)
I try to share info here with the Lemmy Starcraft community as Blizzard has been making changes that make the game run worse. I wrote a couple scripts for previewing and opening replays that I'm going to share as soon as they're complete and user-friendly.
I write Python for fun, I'm not a programmer. The more you learn, the more you can do. I've written a lot of scripts and tools to help me automate tasks I do frequently. It's a lot of fun to dream up an idea and then make it real, and then later add random features that pop into my head. Windows sucks.
