If you self host, all features are free.

True, it can be a double edged sword. But if there was a broader scope of what could be planted and subsidized, issues like that with corn wouldn't be as prevalent I would think. Since so few are subsidized, corn gets a ton of attention.

It's really close to OneNote so far and has an acceptable self hosting option. The import function seems good compared to other apps I've tried

Nice, I like guns for the same reason. I love the unusual and cool looking ones that aren't "da best". Form over function for me lol. That thing looks like it belongs in the world of Equilibrium. I dig it. Nice find.

That's not anarchist at all...

I see you know your judo well.

I think this would go a very long way to helping.

I don't know. Pretty sure bleach isn't allowed in most drinks but you can feel free to drink as much as you like at home.

jk if that's not obvious

If I could afford a NAS I would have done so by now. But I can't afford the drives. Most other hosted solutions either don't offer the capacity I am after, or lack other features that I want from a cloud storage.

I didn't like using Obsidian and I'm not going to learn markdown so it's out. I'm looking at notesnook, but it's still not quite what I am after. But might be as close as I get.

Each time I tried to decipher the answer from argumentative forum posts and vague descriptions I didn't find anything equivalent. I can take a look again, don't think that was the name of things I tried before.

The only thing preventing me from full adoption in it is the lack of being able to convert to table like in excel. I've moved to it for my word processing. But I can't shake excel because I use that feature almost every time I use the program.

After that i just need to find replacements for OneNote and OneDrive and I'll finally be free.

Saw this on another sublemmy and thought you all might get a giggle out of it.

Not sure how prevalent efforts like this are, but looked like it could be a good way to spend some weekend time. Would be really cool to see more forest in the highlands.

Congrats Scotland on topping the list!

Been trying to avoid plastic containers when I can. So I'm drinking canned water when I'm not near a tap and glass.

My grandmother-in-law is taking one of my kids to get a new jacket. I'll have one less kid for an hour and a half.

I love the mashup between one of my favorite metal bands and one of my favorite synthwave bands. Works unexpectedly well.

Fantastic vocals and great synth work, this song by The Bad Dreamers is another favorite for me.

The Bad Dreamers have great vocals and Timecop1983 is always solid for Synthwave melodies. The two combined make a fantastic pairing.

This is the song that got me into the genre. And if you get a chance to see The Midnight live, it's well worth it. They put on a fantastic show!

This is my favorite album. Took me ages to get a vinyl copy but we'll worth it.
