Yeah, I prefer ownership over subscription to a service too. It's a bit easier to justify with the family plan and sharing costs.

Thanks, I think I found it. Good point regarding the technology and how you can just switch instances in case there's anything wrong.
My bet would be on technical issues with indexing or indexing speed maybe? I do get results from lemmy.ml on browse.feddit.de .

That's a good point about the 3DS eShop. I was one of the ones who was making sure I have all my stuff downloaded until the end.
