The immigration cannot be stopped without seriously inhumane measures like shooting at people who try to cross your border. And even that will barely make a dent. I'm not giving up my humanity for a few percent drop in immigration. The immigration situation in Europe is born of the knowledge that if you want this to happen peacefully you have to give immigrants a shot at making a life here without having to turn to crime.

The fact that this bothers you is more proof of the succes of right wing propaganda than anything else.

If you look at the past there have always been people moving about, sometimes they successfully integrated or mixed cultures, sometimes it was genocide in one direction or the other. Hard measures like seriously closing borders are bids for war.

No, the private funding of politicians, which nowhere in the world happens as thoroughly or blatantly as in the US, is another issue to solve. It's companies pushing for privatization of services that they sabotage first to show that the government doesn't do well with them. It's like the postal service headed by that Trump appointee that was a big cheese in a transport firma. I forgot his name.

You think the state of NASA isn't caused by privately funded politicians?

I'm fully expecting a great American famine shortly given the way they hinder imports (think of Canadian potash), fuck over immigrant workers, threw away loads of water that California farmers will be in dire need of this summer. There aee a lot of soybeans grown for export that just didn't get harvested because of the trade war. I sure hope the government cheese lasts long enough.

To add, in the Netherlands, known for it's stellar bike infrastructure it's exactly with actions like this that they reclaimed their cities from being purely car oriented.

I've owned a few Volkswagens and yes when they are over 12:years old they start having issues, before that they never ever let me down.

Nothing wrong with German or French engines, but I admit British and Italian engines aren't the greatest for not breaking down.

Tire sizes too? For some reason we get funny sizes for tires and bike frames in Europe. I don't really know what they're based on, they do seen to have some kind of connection to imperial/cistomary but I never really know how it's measured.

Sounds like they wanted engines that work.

Musk risks nothing because TACO.

[–] Kickforce@lemmy.wtf 4 points 2 days ago

Doesn't it feel like he is orchestrating the whole thing to give the IDF excuses to shoot people?

It would be so funny if those two would burn each other, but Musk doesn't risk much as taco.

I'm in my third playthrough on Pc, first time in hardcore. I finished all the gamekeeper missions in the Trosky region and the second gamekeeper says I can have a look at his bows, and he'll tell Vostatek to offer his for sale too. However neither of them give me the trade option, which they did in previous playthroughs. Any way to solve this?

I did get the Fortuna paint some time ago looking to buy one in game. It's a nice little racer. Damn what a swanky little machine! As Din would say, "Wizard!"
