My gut instinct is that this sign is fake with the end goal of driving outraged calls to the real Lt gov., but who can even tell anymore?
It's really difficult to tell to what level and for what end they're trying to collapse the country. Is the goal just a grift? Is it to secure permanent corporate governance? Is it to collapse the US for techno feudalism? Is it to utterly annihilate the US on behalf of a foreign nation? All of the above by different individuals?

Yes, and all the real data about that is on a separated computer and network system, with separate infrastructure. You require physical access to a terminal and getting even that is difficult. The entitlements on the system itself are very specific, very limited, and have multiple approval authorities for each person. The regular, external facing network and systems are mostly just for emails, memos, things like that. General business operations.

I will say that at least the main shit of consequence for the DOE is on a separate system which cannot be accessed externally.
The big event will be someone with regular human flu getting bird flu, giving the virus opportunities to swap DNA segments. If it gets the transmissibility of our standard influenza and the lethality of bird flu, it'll be a rough six months to a year before we have vaccines for it as it rips through our population.
