Brodie’s increasing instability, paranoia, erratic behaviour, and abusive conduct.

Finally, someone the people of Vancouver-Quilchena can really get behind!

A notice posted on B.C.'s Forest Operations Map website shows the yellow cedar was felled in an area where Matchlee Ltd. Partnership, majority owned by Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation, holds a non-renewable forest licence.

He "got quit".

British Columbia Premier David Eby received approval from more than 93 per cent of delegates at the NDP's convention two years ago, and he's hoping for another "healthy majority" at this weekend's convention in Victoria.

The announcement came a day after the Supreme Court of Canada declined to hear an appeal to save the flock at Universal Ostrich Farms, where avian flu was detected last December.

The CFIA said in a statement that after consulting with experts, it concluded that “that the most appropriate and humane option was to use professional marksmen in a controlled on-farm setting.”

  • Controllable by a simple, easily understood scripting language. Lua for example.
  • A sense of time and date.
  • Powerful regex interpreter.
  • Open source.
  • Documentation. Maybe a wiki?
  • Easily configurable for each instance so that admins aren't afraid to install it.

I bet they are just going to take the Nordic Horizons DLC from ETS2 and change the language on the signs.

Wind and rainfall warnings have been issued for a large portion of British Columbia on Thursday, as Environment Canada is forecasting 110 km/h gusts and 140 millimetres of rain throughout the day in some areas.

The town first proposed in July that it had reached a conditional agreement to purchase the nine-hole golf course for $8.5 million. Plans for the property include housing, parkland and a refurbished golf course.

Officials say money from the development and sale of homes on the golf course would go towards the purchase. Last month, an anonymous donor pledged $2.1 million if the town keeps 40 acres, or about 16 hectares, of the 42.5-hectare property as parkland.

B.C. Conservative leader John Rustad says he agrees with Smith and Eby needs to be “called out for blocking the prosperity of Canadians.”

Didn't he say the same thing about private hospitals?

"Through his unwavering commitment to education, equity and opportunity, John inspired a generation and helped shape our brighter future for all British Columbians. Today, that vision comes to life," said Goodmanson.

The orca (Orcinus orca), or killer whale, is a toothed whale and the largest member of the oceanic dolphin family. The only extant species in the genus Orcinus, it is recognizable by its distinct pigmentation; being mostly black on top, white on the bottom and having recognizable white eye patches. A cosmopolitan species, it inhabits a wide range of marine environments, from Arctic to Antarctic regions to tropical seas, but is more commonly documented in temperate or cooler coastal waters. Scientists have proposed dividing the global population into races, subspecies, or possibly even species.

The orca has emerged victorious in The Search for B.C.'s Best Symbol, defeating 63 other challengers in a friendly summer-long competition by CBC News to determine what iconic thing in this province best represents us.

After five weeks and 500,000 votes, the orca defeated the totem pole in the final by a comfortable 64-36 per cent margin to win the unofficial and unscientific crown.

BCTel should be brought back!

I'm not sure that a US owned monopoly would make things better.
