For me it's a difference but I'd say it's minor as for as what I can truly tell. I'm more comfortable now that I can sit or stand when I want. Sometimes I'm restless so being able to stand and easily move while I work feels good.

Tostadas. Make them with seasoned ground beef/chicken, chopped lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and salsa if I have it on hand (usually I do). Delicious every time. Easy to make and filling. Will also add beans if I have them.

The Office.

I throw it on in the background constantly.

These updates seem to never really make a difference to what I see in the UI. Maybe I have it all disabled.

It's possible I'm misremembering, but didn't the valar indeed fight during the war of wrath? Or was it just the lesser ainur?

After some researching online, I am going to steal this from reddit:

From the Unfinished Tales:

To the overthrow of Morgoth he sent his herald Eönwë.

And a line that was changed by Christopher Tolkien in the Akallabêth, mentioned in The Peoples of Middle-earth:

In the Great Battle when at last Eönwë herald of Manwë overthrew Morgoth and Thangorodrim was broken, the Edain alone of the kindreds of Men fought for the Valar, whereas many others fought for Morgoth.

Christopher Tolkien then proceeds to explain this changed line from the Akallabêth:

In SA the reference to Eönwë was removed; and similarly later in the paragraph 'refusing alike the summons of [Fionwë >] Eönwë and of Morgoth' was changed to 'refusing alike the summons of the Valar and of Morgoth'. The reason for this lay in the treatment of the last chapter of the Quenta Silmarillion in the published work. The only narrative of the Great Battle at the end of the First Age (V.326 ff.) derived from the time when the Children of the Valar were an important conception, and Fionwë son of Manwë was the leader and commanding authority in the final war against Morgoth and his overthrow; but the abandonment of that conception, and the change in the 'status' of Fionwë/Eönwë to that of Manwë's herald led to doubt whether my father, had he ever returned to a real retelling of the story of the end of the Elder Days (see XI.245-7), would have retained Eönwë in so mighty and elemental a role. His part was in consequence somewhat diminished by omissions and ambiguous wording (as may be seen by comparing the text in Vol.V with that of the published Silmarillion; cf. also the editorial addition made to the Valaquenta, X.203). There is however no evidence for this supposition, and I now believe it to have been a mistaken treatment of the original text, and so also here in the Akallabêth.

As noted above, Christopher Tolkien notes that he made a mistake in removing the reference to Eönwë being the one to personally overthrow Morgoth in the published Silmarillion version of the Akallabêth (referred to as "SA" in the quote above).

Thus it can be safely concluded that Eönwë is the one who personally chained Morgoth at the end of the War of Wrath.

As for my own head cannon? That is difficult to say... I guess I never imagined too much extra here. I suppose some nonses, but I can't get out of my head is that earendil used the silmaril on his ship the blast Ancalagon with lasers...

I've enjoyed the modern Evil Dead movies. I didn't realize another one was coming, but based on box office results I can't say it's surprising. Looking forward to it.

Another road win. First time in NBA history all 4 road teams win game 1.

Looks fun. I can only imagine how large the world will be.

I've been using summit for a few weeks or so now and I very much enjoy it. However, there's a quirk that I can't figure out. Is there a way to navigate to my subscription list quickly? The way that I do it now is tap on my profile and then I have to reach all the way to the top of my screen and hit subscriptions. I was thinking there should be a way to do this in the nav bar in the bottom but I couldn't figure it out. The "home" button takes me to what appears to be all instances.

I have recently purchased a home with solar panels. The previous owner didn't have a ton of information on them as she inherited the house from her mother who passed away. She has the purchase agreement, but the company that did the installation in 2014 has gone bankrupt (in 2020).

I'd like to somehow figure out how much energy I'm getting out of the panels. I got information from the previous owner on their electric bill, which shows me I won't be paying much. But that doesn't really answer my question about electricity generation.

Looks like I have 14 solar world Mono Black panels with model number 275.

Any advice on how I can go about figuring out exactly how much energy generation I'm getting?

Ancillary Information: the panels are owned outright. They were originally purchased with cash so no loan or lease on them.

I want to know if it's possible to have my feeds be completely separate if I have multiple accounts. I have two accounts I like to keep them completely separate from each other. It looked at first like that was happening on summit but then I realized that the accounts were being blended together and the results I would see on my feed was the combination of the two accounts. Is there a setting somewhere or something on the roadmap that will allow us to have these completely separated?

I will be moving into a new house in a few weeks. It's an older house (built in the 60s) and hasn't had much updates in terms of wiring. I want to be able to run a hardwire cable to each bedroom to maximize my Internet performance. My wife works from home and I'm hybrid, so I want to ensure we're not just flying on WiFi.

Are there any resources or how tos that can give me some information on where to start? What to look for? What to do first?

I'm struggling with figuring out what I should try to tackle. Should I just run an Ethernet line to the room that's an office and start there? Or is there some well thought out approach I can make?

I know this is probably vague, but any assistance would be appreciated.

I searched around and I couldn't find a way to cast my laptop running mint to my TV. For reference, I am aware that I can cast to Chromecast supported devices through chrome, but my TV is an LG and it does not support Chromecast.

Does anyone have a method to cast my desktop to an LG TV?
