Cool story. It's a wonderful excuse, anyway.

That's not very convincing to people who care about believing true things, and it's certainly not what I'd classify as "intellectual competence."

Whatever works for you, great. But saying people who don't delude themselves are lacking in intellectual or emotional competence doesn't seem to be an effective message.

That's hilarious.

It takes intellectual competence to believe in magic?

The best argument I've ever heard for any god is "you can't prove it didn't happen this way."

But I'm sure you have better than that, right?

Rape is so funny 🤣

Wouldn't it be so funny if Trump choked to death on a balloon animal on national TV? I'd shit myself in his memory.

In this exhibit, we can see how the conservative is literally unable to see things from an alternative perspective. It's compelling, yes?

We can see here how the subject assumes that everyone is as stupidly contrarian as themselves; the subject literally cannot conceive how anyone would hate having untrained "soldiers" kicking down doors without a warrant. The tiny brain cannot fathom judging someone for raping women and children, since they themselves would do it if they could get away with it.

Fascinating creatures, conservatives. They're so self-absorbed that even their criticism of others is, in fact, a mirror at their own gullibility.

Push it.

Twist it.

Bop it.

Oh no, I've been noted!

Please don't note me, I'm so scared of what reactionary centrists who say dumb shit think! 😱

Except the left actually believes that every person has an innate dignity and doesn't deserve to be starved on the street, while the right believes that every person has a duty to be dominated by their "betters." That's what those phrases mean.

Totally the same thing, what an insight.

Hey, you got one right.

That's not how that one works either.

That's not how that idiom works.

Curious if anyone has the original Universal Monk comment handy.
