We are all going to die. Most will die younger of easily preventable/treatable causes so a few can live long, physically healthy lives while they expropriate the wealth of those they directly cause to die at younger ages than themselves.
One of the most blursed attributes of humanity is being able to override instinct, sometimes with therapeutic intervention, sometimes not.
He's basically using the "a man's going to be a man" bs excuse to behave/think this way. If boys were socialized the way a lot of "traditional values" families socialize their girls, this would pass muster as much as women saying it. And I'm not saying it's inherently wrong, just that there's a fine line between healthy and unhealthy.
