*I'm a noob* I shucked a WD Elements 2TB external drive I bought a few years ago and found the base board has USB, not SATA. It's a WD20NMVW. I'm guessing there's no SATA beneath all of this? in c/datahoarder@selfhosted.forum

looks like it. you can still use it in a nas. just connect it to a usb port instead of sata, it should be fine except possibly limited SMART Info.

In Germany/Europe we have geizhals.de. They have Filters for Dram, TBW, TLC/QLC, over provisioning, Power Draw, M.2 keying etc. - basically you can filter everything
