Parts are absolutely fine. If you're a beginner I'd advised against Arch as it's high maintenance. If your hell bent on a Arch distro I'd recommend EndeavourOS as it's Arch with an installer and the base system will cover most use case without too much tinkering.

Define "a lot of AAA games" ? Because right now almost everything on Steam just works on Linux besides the odd multiplayer games, and even that is slowly getting support. Heck, I even installed the just out Lies of P demo the other day, worked first try, no glitch, very good performance, like a native game.

I'm no hardcore gamer but game a lot.
I'm running Nobara KDE, almost any games I throw at it work with no tinkering. Just this afternoon I installed Lies of P demo from Steam, it worked OTT with zero glitch. I have a SSD with Win11 I haven't run in months lol.

They're slow, I vastly prefer Flatpaks.
