Sounds like it's a thankless job

You can't eat gold, and you can only trade gold for food if that person can trade the gold for something else. I'm not going to say there's no chance of gold being valuable in a societal collapse scenario, but I'd rather wager with resources than a pretty, shiny metal. I don't see how that's a position that can't be understood. Gold works as an intermediary exchange, but direct barter can always be counted on.

The comment I was replying to mentioned being against censorship and hoping the game gets put back up on a Steam. While they didn't say anything about Steam being forced to do anything, I was just following that train of thought to any pressure being put on Steam to put it back on. They have no reason to reverse the decision.

Steam is a publisher that is free to decide what is or is not allowed on their platform. Everyone is free to choose not to use Steam, just as everyone is free to choose not to play Horses, and platforms are free to not host it. Why should Steam be forced to host it if they have decided not to?

Yes, if the charger is broken, it does make sense to reserve the space for charging. To maintain the standard of it being for charging only. If it is reserved for charging, but the charger is broken, then no one parks there until the charger is fixed. Unless the charger is being permanently taken offline, then the space should revert to parking for anyone.

This is because the charger being broken is a temporary status. If it turned into a free parking spot whenever the charger were broken, even if people didn't vandalize the charger they could simply say "oh, I thought it was broken", or "it was broken earlier when I parked here".

The article is kind of lacking. It doesn't go into what makes an accomodation appropriate or not, only listing a handful of examples. The biggest hurdle for these sorts of accomodations is likely staffing and funding. Being able to properly care for an individual with developmental disabilities on a nature hike likely takes more specialized training than a park ranger receiving a single class on the matter. The option of group hikes or having a specialized caregiver accompany individual along on the hike is probably a better accomodation, and I'm sure are already able to be set up at most outdoor locations and reserves (even if it isn't something explicitly assisted with).

“There’s this idea that wilderness needs to be untouched and untrammeled, and it’s only for people who can physically get out there,” Nagakyrie said.

This also sticks me a little bit. Yes, the people need to physically be able to get there. Assistance definitely should be offered, but to what extent should be expected regularly as opposed to needing individual planning?

Part of the article also mentions increased challenges and violence against those with disabilities due to climate change and environmental disaster, which while related to nature and outdoor spaces, I think is an entirely separate issue better discussed in a different article.

I would have liked to see the article go into more detail about what accomodations different demographics need and want. How to fulfil those accomodations. How the lack of funding disproportionately harms certain demographics more.

Wilderness being untrampled and untouched is what makes it worth visiting (respectfully), so a one-size-fits-all solution would do more than good. Bringing public awareness to groups such as the Disabled Hikers organization would do more good, in my opinion.

I always start eating the popcorn as soon as I sit in my theater seat, and don't remember the last time I finished the entire bag of popcorn. Once the movie starts, I'm usually more focused on the movie and more concerned with not making too much noise that my grazing on the snacks is cut down by half. If you want to eat popcorn early, eat popcorn early. If you want to wait for the movie, wait for the movie. But there's no magic ratio shared by all theaters, it's just whatever pacing you happen to eat at.

This looks like something right out of JoJo's

I want to ask genuinely, how is the bookmark different than a tab with tab grouping in this instance? I have the bookmarks bar always visible, and have folders organized on the main bar (rather than the drop down extended bar). Wouldn't tab grouping do the same thing, just slightly higher?

They mean the game is streamed from a server to the player, rather than running on the player's hardware. This might not be feasible for every game studio to do, but would actually open up the game for more players to be able to play (since local hardware requirements would be lower).

I think this is a terrible idea for other reasons, but accessibility and anti-cheat aspects of it are not some of those reasons.

It's not really something to follow, just Disney marketing doesn't mean literally a "princess" a lot of the time

Hello, everyone!

Recently I've watched a few tutorials on how to make a fursuit head, and have decided that's it's a project I want to take on myself! I've never owned a fursuit before, not have I worked on anything this detailed of a craft in the past. Some simple cosplays that took minimal alterations from base materials, basic sewing and clothing repair, that sort of thing. But I took up painting miniatures several years ago and made good progress by taking my time and being patient with myself; I figured I could do the same here!

Does anyone have any tips for someone working with shaping foam for the base, or tricks for working with the faux fur once I get to that point? I'd love to hear of other people's journeys, as well! I plan to share pictures of my progress as the head starts taking shape.
