I find it interesting that Robert Mathis has made it to the semifinalist stage three times already and John Abraham has had zero HOF momentum since he retired. The awards, the sacks, the approximate value, and the overall career impact all lean toward Abraham

He was nominated via senior committee alongside the other finalists Randy Gradishar and Art Powell. Making it to the senior finalist stage these days is typically a guarantee for induction, so I'd bet with confidence that he makes the cut this year
