I deny that the Warsaw Pact exists right now, if that's what you mean. You might as well argue that the Roman Empire is in decline right now.

I also deny that the Warsaw Pact benefited its member countries. After all, it was the only defensive alliance that invaded its own members.

So if I register Antifa.com, then I'm the CEO of Antifa?

There is no such thing as an "Eastern European bloc". There is only "Russia" and "countries running away from Russia".

Zero. There was actually a big story about this.

Slovenian here, first of all huge thanks to Ukraine, it's crazy what they have going on in their own country, and they still sent help to us for the floods.

Second thing, there was a big misinformation campaign claiming that Russia offered help and Slovenia declined it, either because our ruling party politicians are russophobes or because of EU/NATO pressure. But this was simply not true, investigators checked, and the rebuttal was published on most major news sites, so most people at least know the truth.

So you're totally against war, but you don't want those who start wars to get punished. Interesting.

That is the opposite of unpopular.

New appliances are usually delivered, yes. Big stores have their own delivery service, others use the national postal service or one of the many private ones.

For moving old furniture, there are specialized companies (mostly small sole proprietorships) that come to your house with a van, load your stuff, and drive it to a new location. Or you can rent a van or a truck (I mean an actual cargo vehicle, not what you see in the picture).

Except the time when Rogozin was in charge, at least.

As a trans person, would you rather go to a beach where nobody is armed, or to a beach where everybody might be armed?

That is in the books too. It's called a "Seldon crisis", where the Foundation has only one possible way forward as means of keeping it close to the original plan.

And vice versa - you can run commands on your computer from your phone. Handy when you're in bed but remember that you forgot to turn the computer off.

It's a trade-off, so it depends on both how good the pay is and how opposed the company is.

I'm currently working for a crypto company, and have worked for other similar ones in the past, and these all tend to be libertarian types which I don't agree with, but they pay well.

On the other hand, a previous employer tried to get Saudi Aramco as a client, and I made it clear that I would not support this. Fortunately those talks didn't come anywhere.

So yes, there's certainly a line.
