I mean Innsbruck is a good start, it's nice city and mostly done with the whole thing in a day.

Goldenes Dachl, the old town and if you take the J line to the hungerburg you have a great view over the City (and you don't have to pay for the Hungerburgbahn).

But as the others say, Salzburg is probably a great for 1 night, Linz is also nice.

Oh No, someone is not my opinion, i start to doubt everything He/she says and put something in his/her mouth that never was said.

Nice one.

So to clear things:

  • i never doubt about anything something about their development (that only you brought Up)
  • i never said they should stuck in a stroller (again you brought that up)
  • i never said, in that in Dangerous terrain it's wrong (but you should probably Not Walk into Dangerous terrain with a toddler)
  • i never said you "only" watch them. You don't "watch" a toddler. You are participating with almost very step with vom/her.
  • no, i don't say someone here to never use the leash. If you are looking for parenting advices only at Lemmy , you should probably seek Help.

I said

  • i'm a parent. If you believe me or not, i don't care.
  • i never used my "i'm a parent card", in fact you brought it up and i told in small Side sentence that i'm also one
  • i'm Not a bad parent, not because i say i dislike leashes.
  • yes, i dislike leashes
  • yes, because i think it's not benefiting any Security (exceptions exists of course, Dangerous terrain and autistic children f.e.)
  • yes, putting someone on a leash is something you don't do. You don't put mentaly handicapped people or dementia patients on a leash. It's dehumanising, even If the people don't understand that.
  • yes you are making your children to "pets" through that, because to your suprise, a social norm of leashes make this. (Owner/Pet)

So, please stop accusing me things i've never written and never did and leash your children.

I never Made my Point about, that i have children. It was only to answer the post before that i "100% don't have children". It really doesn't Matter If you have children or not

Children aren't pets.

Pets aren't children

Putting someone to a leash is degrading for humans. I know that there are exceptions, but If you are putting children on a leash, you are mostly seen as a bad parent and probably you are. Also: dogs are on a leash mostly for safety reasons for others.

Train thought, but in the sense of Economy, Billionaires are holding and gather capital without putting or only a fraction of it back to the free market.

So, they are the biggest threat to a free matket Economy.

The Idea:

On my old Mastodon Profile i've made a list of Rebuilds/Fan Remakes/SourcePorts (when possible opensource, no commercial remakes) for old PC Games, and i want to share it here on Lemmy too, so people can easily find it.

Why?

I've played lot of these games, and i'm glad there a Fans who still working on these games, to make it accessible on modern systems and giving them some QoL improvments. In my opinion, that's a great way to preserve old games from being forgotten and keep playable for new players. Also these people need some recognition (at least) for their hard work.

I'm glad If you help to complete this list and contribute some games you know.

In the moment there are alphabetical sorted:

  • 68 PC Games in total
  • 53 Remakes, SourcePorts etc.

New additions will be marked with *

There is also the List here https://osgameclones.com/, who did unknown to me the same.

Addendum SCUMMVM:

SCUMMVM is the first place for adventure games from Lucas Arts (Monkey Island etc.) or Sierra (Kings Quest etc) anf for the RPGs from Origin (Ultima VI), Westwood (Eye of the Beholder) and New World Compting (Might and Magic I, III and IV), but also many more. Here you can check the list of games out.

Addendum "Inspired Games"

I think that games divergence too much from the original games, but also should be mentioned.

Also i would recommend the Open Source Port of the First two Jake and Daxter games
