Ideally, start arresting every person who enacts the president's illegal actions. They should have arrested every person in DOGE that illegally occupied any of the government buildings or seized government information.

A small correction, they pay a fee on that amount. But the full amount is just a highly volatile investment. So, that's the amount it could cost them.

The Democratic Party is just a vessel. It used to be the right wing (relative). Now it's the left wing (relative). Bernie and AOC don't really fit in with the Dems, but they can. Same with Manchin.

There was a time where I thought a Musk type could rally many behind a weird Libertarian version of the DNC or RNC and shift the landscape. But he just went hard fascist as soon as he publicly aligned with the right.

The Supreme Court on Monday allowed the Trump administration to use an 18th century wartime law to deport Venezuelan migrants, but said they must get a court hearing before they are taken from the United States.

In dissent, the three liberal justices said the administration has sought to avoid judicial review in this case and the court “now rewards the government for its behavior.” Justice Amy Coney Barrett joined portions of the dissent.

House passed legislation Tuesday to avert a partial government shutdown and fund federal agencies through September, providing critical momentum as the measure now moves to the Senate, where bipartisan support will be needed to get it over the finish line.

Republicans needed overwhelming support from their members to pass the funding measure, and they got it in the 217-213 House vote.

This is Conference Week of the NFL Title Rankings of the 2024 season. See here for last week’s rankings.

Like last week, only one of the games were won by the lower ranked team. The only jump was 2 spots. The highest ranked team in the playoffs is the Eagles at number 2. That means that the Super Bowl champion will only reach 2 in the rankings.

The Chiefs jumped 2 spots and are now the lowest ranked team still in the playoffs. Any team ranked lower than 5 will not move again until next season.

The Seahawks will keep the NFL Title Belt and first ranking. Because the Seahawks are not in the playoffs, they will remain first for the offseason.

The Falcons will remain last for the offseason.

Only 1 of the 6 games ended with the lower ranked team winning. The only jump was 16 spots. The highest ranked team in the playoffs is the Rams at number 2. That means that the Super Bowl champion will only reach 2 in the rankings.

The Texans jumped 16 spots, and the Lions are now the lowest ranked team to make the playoffs. Any team ranked lower than 14 will not move again until next season.
