The masses don't know how to search for information anymore. Not only that, but they are unable to do so with the disparity of their understanding of the search engines and the current state of search engines. People are used to being fed information through an algorithm, and those who control the algorithm aren't about to promote a competitor that'd take away their money.

I wouldn't say her soul or animating spirit has been tricked here— that would make no sense. "Sike" is a word now, and it has a very specific and narrow meaning. Just like Psyche now means something totally different that it originally did. Language EVOLVES.

As someone who is doing a massive research project on the Maya peoples right now, that civilization was technologically way ahead of the game! You're making a sweeping general statement. Polygamy is just Polyamory taken to vows. There is a problem with a lot of the people that practice polygamy in an unethical way, but not polygamy itself.
