I'd probably just take 15tons of medicine, maybe some powertools but I'm not sure if the electrical grid ran the same voltage and stuff

honestly I think it's weird how focused on weaponry this all is.

It's not only germany tbh, every EU country has made it very clear what trajectory they chose.

My intention wasn't to attack but the "hopefully we won't have too many droughts" comment while we are on a clear trajectory to a world of +3c flabbergasted me and struck a nerve, I genuinely do not understand how you can make a statement like this, today, if you even have a basic knowledge of anthropic climate change

Also you say this right after you completely misrepresent my argument like I somehow don't care about the situation of cobalt and lithium mining, which is why I mentioned explicitly it isn't a solely nuclear issue and that even oil extraction causes huge suffering for anything and anyone in it's vicinity. So you try to keep things scientific but it seems to me like you failed and you are just emotionally knee-jerking right now fr.

One of the things that rarely get mentioned is the way uranium gets mined, almost always next to poor and marginalized people, leaving disease and unlivable places. Something that doesn't get included In the .gov stats ofcourse. (Ofcourse this is not just a nuclear thing) the way french companies completely ravage places in africa for uranium (and oil) is unacceptable. I'm fairly "meh" on nuclear energy, but it really icks me it is never mentioned.

E.g: french being french monsters exhibit 942331 and there's plenty of places like that, american navajo comes to mind too.

also weaponry

the current extreme drought in Europe is hopefully a rare occurrence

Lmao no it won't be, have you been hiding under a rock? You know the climate is completely fucked for us right? Western Europe is one of the fastest heating places even, within a decade or 2 everything south of paris will be just like extremadura.

now that I think about it, do floods have impact on reactor capacities? Like there is a lot more debris and shit in the water.

Not sure if it fits here but it's 40degrees celsius where I live so I can't think straight anyway.
