I think it's interesting how much nostalgia there was for the 80s 20 years ago, compared to 00s nostalgia today. It feels like the cultural/aesthetic differences between the 80s and 00s are so much stronger than the 00s and today.

All that to say I kinda disagree on making GTA 6 a 2000s period piece

They crisp stuff up better, they're faster, and they're more energy efficient. They're great if you're just feeding one or two people. If you're cooking up a big batch of something though a convection oven is probably better

I really wanted to like twin peaks. I wish I could see what other people see it. But damn if I can't tell the difference between it and an actual soap opera.

I'm still watching yellowjackets but yeah, pretty quickly they just kill off any characters worth rooting for. It's a hard watch.

my cat turns the cords for my blinds into many smaller cords. I now am lucky enough to have an excess of cords, and the window is completely free from any pesky blinds. I'm so grateful
