Genres don't tell me how much of a game is cutscenes and how much of the game is controlled by inputs. I guess you can argue for more labels but then we'll have labels too long that they need abbrevations (extra cognitive load for the reader) so why not a new word (the same congitive load)?

So as a customer my selection process is shorter. The label "Video game" is getting too big that it's becoming useless. Imagine all the citrus fruits were called citrus fruits. I mean yeah but I wanna know if I'm buying an orange or a lemon, I like both but not in the same situation.

edit: I couldn't stop thinking about the fruits: Citrus with sugar elements, Aroma driven Citrus

I'm sorry my comment is not deep enough to be his irrelevant to the topic but I gotta ask: Do you know a text editor which is just notepad but remembers the last session when you close it? I just need a scratchpad, even notepad++ is too fancy for my needs but that's what I was using on windows. Now I use kate but it feels like I'm killing a mosquito with a rocket launcher when a book cover would do.

Art cannot destroy my system. Bad code which might ask for elevated access can...

So I'm gonna execute the code of someone who doesn't know the first thing about coding on my computer? Great!

I'd rather have AI art and human code.

I don't like the tags (end of discussion). = No symptoms here

I don't like the tags and I LITERALLY cannot wear anything man made unless the tags are cut = Symptom right here.

but that makes the system confidently wrong, not hardworking.

UN says (I'm paraphrasing because they are pussies) we don't need any jobs apart from activist and policymaker until the world is in peace.

We already have surplus in everything and logistics isn't even a problem because amazon proved that you can ship anywhere within one day if you are willing.

The only problem remaining is the law.

Until these are fixed, you are mentally masturbating when you say "my department is actually still finding out new stuff". Dude the pipe is clogged and the engine is waterlogged, who cares you pump in new stuff?

ps: I'm one of these mental masturbators so no shade.

Professional (as in they earn money, not skill level) Xers fuck everything up. (here, X is an arbitrary verb or a brand name)

My anecdotes: Youtube was good before professional youtubers became a thing (systemic problem, people are not the issue but the environment which breeds them), now it's attention economy and or one topic discussed for 50 minutes (a video explaining the same topic with the same intensity from 10 years ago is 2 minutes long)

Gamers were problematic but harmless, professional gamers caused betting pandemic (sponsored content).

Streamers were funny, professional streamers are sexy/deadly-sells-to-children.

I liked it when people were sharing stuff online because they were bored, and not because they were hungry.

What is your sample size? Which places have you inhabited for more than 3 months? (Saw at least 2 seasons?)

Whenenver I try to use my mouse without a dongle (direct connection through bluetooth), I get the situation in the picture.

I'd like to give you more information but there isn't a pattern. It happens in the middle of using it. It happens when I don't move for a while, then suddenly move my mouse. It happens if I was using the scroll wheel for a while and started moving the mouse again. It has no learnable pattern.

The mouse works perfectly if I use the dongle. Mouse worked (probably still works) perfectly in Windows. I'm on Linux Mint (Zara)

I tried what little (4 threads) information I could find about this topic so I'm here.

Any solutions?

Edit: Thank you everyone but the solution to the problem is bigger than the problem. I thought it would be an easy solution but I need this USB slot once every 3 months, I can live with that :D
