I wasn’t arguing it either…. But you called the two options “genocidal maniacs” which is an incorrect usage of the term.

VERY well said.

For starters, you need to look up the definition of genocide and stop using it incorrectly as an argument. Secondly, saying someone is irrelevant and pointless isn’t suppression. It’s an opinion.

I never once suggested that anyone shouldn’t vote for them. THAT would be suppression.

No, it isn’t.

Just popped in to say-

A throwaway vote can’t be suppressed, because it doesn’t matter one way or another. It’s like adding a grain of sugar to a family-sized chili recipe. It’s irrelevant. So go ahead and drop it in there…. It isn’t going to make the slightest difference.

No one is trying to suppress your vote. You’re not a victim here. Now you’re free to respond as you predictably will- I’m not going to argue with you and get any more comments removed or banned from any communities. I said what I said for the benefit of anyone reading along, and not to engage with you or your attempts to bait people.

I’d have to say….. the god part.

Imagine blatantly and in the wide-open, arguing that you should have a right to gouge people for life-saving medications.

They do this because what are people going to do? Boycott them?

I mean… everthing Trump does is un-American, so… this is kinda’ low hanging fruit to be honest.

[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

Wow… that’s pretty surprising. Wouldn’t have thought I’d see something like that being legitimate. They definitely need to be held accountable.

You’re not even aware of the irony in your statement, are you?

[–] Pratai@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago (2 children)

And you believed it was actually your democratic senator?

Give it a rest, will you? Not everything is a political statement.
