rosa-salute I'd burn one but that would require having one in the first place. No one where I live has one hanging either.

This might be the most mundane game I've bought so far, but I picked up Supermarket Simulator and liked it enough to mod it.

It's so fucking tedious, but I can't pull myself away once I get through the first day. burgerpain

All these streaming websites are wild for charging $4 to watch a movie made in 1940.

Here's an archive link for the Grapes of Wrath movie, no torrenting or downloads required. phoenix-evidence

Ugh, I used to have this mindset as a kid and my parents didn't bother asking me to tone it down because "Eh that's technically what they teach at our missionary based church."

My dork ass didn't convert a single child, thank fuck.

Had this happen to me a couple of weeks ago with a coworker. Knew they were Christian for years, didn't know the church, didn't want to know.

They shared a video with the whole group and my autistic curiousity got the better of me when I saw the church name in the description. Wish it didn't. Now I'm stuck wondering if my coworker did even less homework than I did picking out a place they probably give at least 10% of their income to, or if they genuinely will never see the women around them as equals. Either way I'm back to keeping to myself at work after years of wearing down my shell.

"Leftism will never take off if you never talk to open minded people!" Ok yeah, but I think my odds are way better talking to people under 40, and I'd rather not risk my job thanks. Not trying to do the "OMG I'M SOOOO QUIRKY!1!" line here but I'm such a fucking weirdo even outside of ideaology that I have no idea what part of myself will set my coworkers off and end with at least one of us getting fired.

You ever get that feeling where you're falling down a rabbit hole and your mind splats against one of the edges so hard that your curiosity ends and you pull yourself out?

Yeah well that weird church I mention the other day? Past all the nice fluff and friendly people in their lobby with free coffee willing to answer any questions you have for them, well it turns out they preach THE DIVINE RIGHT OF KINGS. And yes, they include dictators like Hitler with the logic of "If they became leader of a country it must be part of god's plan!" And yes, of course it's not sinful to follow whatever orders a fascist can come up. Questioning authority would be the real sin! An amazing message I found in a Jesus wouldn't vote shweaty, we're all enlightened centrists here sermon. (Just let the other megachurches pour their money into politics and reap the benefits for free. The ratchet effect will do its job eventually since it's part of god's plan!) I'm sorry I just find it wild that this ancient brainworm is heavily burrowed into a church that is trying to appear modern and progressive. Like hating kings is the ONE THING Americans typically get right smh.

Is this the kind of shit actual leftist progressive Christians have to deal with when new people come to their congregation? I've seen enough, and as much as my little gremlin brain would like to ask my coworker if they know about this bonkers ass take I'm gonna end my curiosity here and go back to not socializing at work.

I need to get the out of the south.

Y'know people are asking a lot of questions that my "Our organization hates child trafficking" page already answers.

Sounds sort of like the vanilla argument. Like the literal flavor vanilla, not people that burn after 10 minutes in the sun.

Basically vanilla is a strong flavor on its own, but most people have been raised since birth to view it as the boring default flavor. It doesn't help that people usually get the cheap artificial dollar store stuff versus real vanilla right from the bean. Funny enough, now that I've been vegan for several years coconut has become my personal vanilla. It used to be a strong flavor I could taste in everything from sweets to vegan cheeses, but now it's just the normal default flavor unless it's really concentrated. Same with soy unless it's actual tofu. It's incredible how quickly humans can adapt to change.

Ugh, just made the mistake of learning more about someone I respected at work.

The church they're passionate enough about to volunteer with posts all this shit about love and acceptance and then you search the website past the flowery wording and find out they view all lgbtq as sinful (Just be celibate the rest of your life, it's your personal test! internet-delenda-est ), that women can be in leadership roles... unless they want an actual position of power in the church as an elder lmao get fucked literally and keep popping out those babies, funds an anti-choice "support" organization that puts CHOICE in the name to trick isolated pregnant women into visiting and wasting what little time they have to get an abortion, considers alcoholism and masturbation to be equally serious in their men's group, treats 10% tithe as mandatory and peer pressures up to 20% tithe, and apparently once you get deep enough into the group they tell you that other Christians from other types of churches aren't real Christians and to not only cut them out of your life but to also cut out anyone that leaves your congregation.

And of course they're too cowardly to post an easy to read list on one of their main pages for all this, you really have to go out of your way and even listen to audio only pages and branch news sites / online gossip for most of this. They know how unpopular these once common stances are, honestly it's only thing that gave me hope today. So yeah I'm glad I don't share much about myself at work but lately it's been getting difficult to resist the urge to stop masking altogether. Normally that's a healthy urge, but I've got bills to pay.

If a leftist revolution ever succeeds in this country, reeducation for the general population will be a requirement. xi-plz

Just a motivational reminder. mari-smug

I have a general feeling that they're bad (the org, not the individual children lmao) but am fuzzy on the details of why. It's generally agreed among leftists that it's child labor right? And that they love teaching little kids that capitalism = cool and good. I've got a niece in girl scouts and I'd just like some more concrete examples and reasons not to support them so that my family understands that I'm not just being cheap... although yeah ok I admit it the shrinkflation over the years is one of the reasons I don't give them money, fine.

Or uuuuuh if you think they're good actually then explain for the class pls. Make me feel bad about buying knockoff treats for a third of the price and then not donating the difference. finger-wag 🍪 walter-breakdown 🍪

Is this a cry for help or just a regular Tuesday for ya’ll?

It's already starting btw: "New users in the Philippines and New Zealand are the first to be asked for an annual payment in the latest change to the platform."

Real glad I've been off Twitter for over a year now.

Bask in awe of her penis shaped fur as she jumps on the dinner table and begs for scraps. Coo at her cute little mews as she rips off the tape from shipping boxes and eats it right in front you. Rub her fluffy, chubby belly right before she bites your computer cables and destroys a $100 webcam because you didn't play with her for a full half an hour that day.

10/10 Puppycat, no regrets despite how she knocks over my windowsill plants if her automatic refill food bowl is empty for more than 2 hours.
