Voter rarely know what they're actually voting for in the long term.

He said "elected", dude. Learn to read. This is why it has been hard for me to take any sides in this conflict, because both sides have clearly shown they can't behave.
And people here call me a fucking fascist or genocide supported after I said I don't support violence. Some of you are sometimes emitting stupidity on levels that makes AI look smart.
Wtf is this comment? Why is helping Ukraine "doomer vibes"?
They all look like from same brand that probably wants to have a 500% profit margins from reporpusing sugar
Another common misconception is that those with thicker beards have more testosterone than people with thinner beards. Even though testosterone does play a role in the growth of facial hair, low testosterone is rarely the cause of sparse facial hair growth.2
Thia myth has been wandering around for too long. The two people I know with extreme testasterone levels have no beard growth
Huh? No, but if someone asked me to smile for camera or do something for a quick payout, I would not see myself as being exploited, but rather we both getting something out of this deal. I don't understand what does lemmy see so wrong with this
I have a Canadian friend who asked me what is currently my favourite artist. I said bbno$, he answered "Nice, your fav artist is Canadian". I fully thought he's US artist
This is the question I see everywhere, and it always ends with no one giving good arguments.
When I had a dog, I used to think my dog thinks he will grow just as big as me and will join my daily routine, which was a bit depressing when you think about it
This isn't a problem. For the first time in a very long time, I actually have a queue of games I want to play and din't just mindlessly scroll steam store or wait for big releases. In fact, I no longer follow game releases, there is something at any given time I can find to play
I somehow missed him saying it's pointless for Palestinians. I assumed they meant it in a way we Europeans constantly shit on people for doing photo-ops with Zelensky instead of real action. These things are pointless when the EU spends more money buying russian gas than they spend on defending Ukraine. It's all a front show.
This is very false. Ukraine is actually getting quite desperate with unpopular law changes like forcing men to return to Ukraine or lowering/increasing minimum military age, not even talking about deep strikes which was a big no from many, but Ukraine can no longer afford the slow war, they cannot win by attrition, hence the constant escalation.
The current hot topic seems to be the fact that Russia has turned Zaporizhzhya NPP into a dirty bomb that can go off if backup generators fail. Yes, you read that correctly. The Europe's largest nuclear power plant is being kept active (non-generating, but active in nuclear), only cooled by backup generators which can fail at any moment (backup generators aren't designed to be ran for multiple days in a row), followed by a nuclear meltdown, but no one talks about it because apparently it's no longer a trendy topic, as confirmed by you.
