I feel you and I'm not mad at that - just saying chances are you can't shoot all the guys in ICE before they shoot you. Most people don't want to die. Resisting a force as large and organized as the government takes guerrilla tactics.

Ice also has guns and they don’t roll in by themselves. They roll four or more deep most of the time on home raids. Even people with guns don’t want to get shot themselves. The way ICE rolls in without warning, most people aren’t locked and loaded in mass sitting in their homes. I’m sure the people there weren’t expecting that excessive action. Most Americans don’t wanna die in a government fire fight if they can help it. You have to be alive to claim self defense, and our government’s so corrupt it’s not a guarantee you’ll win. As deep as ice rolls into these type of situations, it’s not like they won’t have back up to take you out if you do happen to take a couple of them out. Trump will back ICE if they use any excessive force.

Apps give way too much access to phone data, whether the developer collects it or not. As you said, Apple has access and has capitulated to the Trump fascist regime already. The app leaves enough fingerprint for them to use. A Web app is just a safer and more available option.

Yeah, I have never had any desire to date a woman I had to pay for everything to impress. I am happy to pay if I know their financial situation is sketchy, but I would offer that. I don’t do sugar daddy shit. I prefer women with better motives in dating.

A general strike is the way. It kills capitalism quickly and once the rich turn on Trump, it’s over. He can’t justify using the military against that action like protests or riots. He’s impotent to do anything about it. If he tried to force people to work or some other insanity, the whole world would boycott the US. Just a couple days of a general strike would scare the living hell out of the owner class and Trump has no power without them behind him.

I’ve been dating most of my life and never once had a woman ask to bring a friend and I am a very large man. Also, I feel like 1st dates are implied dutch unless someone offers to pay. I’ve never discussed who will pay before a date in my life. I don’t know how he would even think he’d be paying for the friend too. It wouldn’t even cross my mind as something a woman would assume a date was expected to do. If a woman expected that at check time, I would be pretty surprised. Maybe I’m just old, but this whole interaction feels weird.

This shouldn’t be on the app store. It gives the US government too much access to pull data from it, or order it pulled down. This should be a web app hosted outside the US that can be accessed by any device and can be obscured by VPN access so the regime can’t persecute participants. Apps pull way too much data from phones that ICE can subpoena.

But you don’t have to “respect their beliefs.” We should not respect beliefs more than any other opinion or ideology. Religions and beliefs should have to defend their point of view as much as any other political or social constructs. The “that’s just my belief” statement should not be allowed to shut down debate. That mindset enables their hypocrisy and delusion.
