Which makes taking notes while the video is playing basically impossible

Not sure if it's because of the backlash but it seems like that was actually not what they're doing and instead they're giving destress days? Either way this is a bad look for them. Even as a joke it comes off very detached and antagonistic as people are very stressed about keeping their primary sources of income.

I've gotten a ton of free games on epic but I'm pretty sure I've yet to buy a game on there.

Don't the numbers indicate the opposite is happening. I fear for my children because I know they are loving and caring.

I mean we can't even seem to make election day a holiday.

If they leave it blank, then so be it. Maybe they'll vote quickly on something else on the ballot. Either way, they would be present and more likely to vote. I don't really care if it's dem or rep or abstain. Abstain is a valid choice, but I would prefer it to be clear that that's what they're choosing.

In all honesty, what if there was a refundable tax credit for voting or something similar. Wouldn't even have to be a lot. If you voted, claim $20 or something.

We'd still have a lot of non voters but I bet some would be swayed by being rewarded for voting

Maybe we should vote to round them up

Most of our neighborhood sits outside with the candy and to hang out and see everyone's costumes. They make it very obvious they're handing out candy so when it's knock houses, we're less likely to go

We're out of time. At least for president, there are no other viable candidates for this cycle. Down ballot, you should be researching your candidates thoroughly.

Right, but you had to do it for her. Not a huge deal, but still something nonetheless.

I'm guessing the majority of those people barely know how to work a computer.

For example, I'm either going to need to swap my mother's computer over to something Linux or give her something supported. Not currently sure which but since everything is web based anyways, I think Linux would be ok for her.

If it were up to her, she will use it well out of support before buying a new laptop.
