My friend Gunther is back in the work locker room.

He was scared off by some recent renovations that took down his wall, but now that things have calmed down he felt safe to come back again.

I saw a number plate yesterday I'm glad I didn't get. I hope the driver of car 1DD 1CK has a sense of humour.

I believe the cats have taken all the laps, so that won't be an issue.

Good Morning Goonsie. Up with the early birds this morning? The fog welcomes you.

I got it from Budget Pet Products. I was just expecting in the $20-$40 range, seeing the diffuser at the first place I looked selling for over $100 was a bit of a shock! I ended up paying about $120 for a diffuser and a spray bottle.

They say to spray it in the travel carrier, but I'm not sure how much she needs it there - now that Mr Woof's carrier has been taken away she's back to napping in her own again.

I just remembered I was going to get a Feliway diffuser for the move. They are a bit pricier than I was expecting, for that price it better be as good as it's reputed to be. I got a diffuser and a travel spray, plus she will have Gabapentin for the moving day itself.

It was an absolutely beautiful afternoon for a walk, I went down to the Mullum Mullum Creek trail. Mr Woof greatly enjoyed all the sniffs and the multiple patches of succulant grass to nibble on. He was less enthused by the mode of transportation to and from. Hopefully I can squeeze in a couple more fun trips for him before he has to go through the long trip to Ballarat.

Miss Meow has been evicted from Mr Woof's travel carrier, and I am about to embark on our first trial run down the road for a walk. Finger's crossed he finds it as comfy as Miss Meow does.

Polystyrene has now been disposed of, and I stopped in for some more packing materials on the way back. Oh, alright, it was actually the craft resource rescue place, and the packing materials are mostly bits of fabric etc., but close enough! I also grabbed a couple of rectangular tins with hinged lids which were some sort of promotional hair care thing, but will be great little rubbish bins for the bathrooms. I had plans for a big coffee tin, but these will work better - I might even cover them with the wallpaper I found.

Warmer than the fridge outside!! I might be able to forgoe the fingerless gloves and scarf for our walk this morning.

Today's main task is going to be polysyrene disposal - all the furniture I bought included a ridiculous amount of the stuff, and I haven't even opened all the boxes yet. I have a pile in the back of the van to take to the recycling centre in Bayswater, unfortunately there are no recycling options for polystyrene around Ballarat. I'll probably be able to bring another lot down after the move, as I'll have to come back to do some more garden tidying etc. anyway. I'll also have a van load of cardboard boxes to take to the tip, moving things around uses an awful lot of packaging.

TL:DR The clocks go back an hour Saturday night, giving us all an extra hour sleep on Sunday morning.

This just leaves me with so many unanswered questions.

I'm not sure how we're supposed to believe that disposal of nuclear waste won't be a problem when we can't manage systems to properly deal with the waste we are creating now.

"The foundations of our streets

This collection of Melbourne survey maps is a missing piece in the story of Melbourne’s development. They give an account of streetscapes, civic spaces and social development from a pivotal time in our city’s history.Β

The maps are in archive, waiting to be conserved, catalogued and digitised. They are a treasure trove of history with value for researchers, families and students alike."
