It is sad that being fat is viewed as a reason to openly hate that human. I know very well my views are not popular due to the general super oversimplification of the facts around this topic to "just lose weight". But I am glad to read someone out there appreciates them. Health is way too nuanced to allow just three words to fix every ailment.

You are hating on other humans for no other reason than their body type, wishing them death and other terrible things to them. It is clear to me you actually have zero interest in public health, and just want an excuse to hate.

This exact behaviour is what is going to worsen the health of everybody as fear and hate of being fat is kept. Instead of healthier foods and living getting cemented in society for their extreme importance, cheap drugs and backhanded solutions are sold "to not look like them" and make a huge amount of cash.

The fear of fat is also a very large reason many people fall into eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia.

The findings of solutions outside of weight loss greatly benefit people in their recommended BMI range too.

And if we do cement healthier living in society every single human of all body types will be overall healthier.

Constant light can exhaust plants and stress them, stunting their growth and general health. Constant sunlight can cause dehydration, sunburn and leaf scorch.

What the hell? Why even want this

What an extremely rude, inconsiderate and selfish thing to say.

You are in a community talking about public health, and that is the reason for discussion to be had.

Every single human has a right to health and being treated with precision and respect, no matter their decisions or conditions.

It absolutely can be earlier. There is zero definitive answer.

Every time comments like this are posted they always completely fail to consider the multiple factors that contribute to a person being fat:

  • Living, financial and mental conditions
  • Eating disorders
  • Thyroid issues
  • Genetic predisposition
  • A person's own preferences

It is extremely important to research and prioritize non-weight loss treatment as many of the conditions that have been linked to being overweight can instead affect individuals within "healthy" BMI margins just as well. Failing to do so creates a great risk of mistreatment, where the actual culprit of that issue is not addressed and both reason and condition remains as the person lost weight.

This is not mentioning that weight loss can be easy for some and a nightmare for others, adding great stress on that person's mental wellbeing.

To simplify health to such a black and white difference is dangerous for everyone, not just fat individuals.

Very little info online. This is either an IBM or Ericsson office circa 1995.

We have come so far people don't know what a terminal is

I grew up with Vista and 7, and so have a very soft spot for it.

I use Linux daily, but my nostalgia VM is on Vista with plenty of period correct games! Running in VMWare I found the huge coincidence that the display driver has enough overhead to run the games realistically for that period!
