One thing you'll see here is that it's a lot more human than Reddit. People here are wayyyy more willing to ask questions and understand instead instead of just assuming. People here are also more willing to actually provide links and supporting documentation.

Of course, I'm not saying that always makes people right, but people are also more willing to accept when they're mistaken and also give people the benefit of the doubt.

It's a breath of fresh air on the internet.

In addition to donating: if you find a Wikipedia page on a topic that you're well versed in and you see that there may be an old mistake or new knowledge on this topic, go ahead and make an edit to the page. You don't need to make an account, editing is fairly straightforward, and it helps keep Wikipedia an accurate source of knowledge for any topic.
