Dab your fingers on the produce like a stamp sponge. Works like a charm.

I effectively had the same convo with a friend back in high school and pointed out the Gundam’s biggest canonical battlefield tech breakthrough was its armor, which let it potentially take anything to the face (until beam weapons see widespread use in the original). Then I compared that a real-life analog, the Abrams, which can hide behind hills and things despite being a taller tank than its counterparts. The Gundam— or anything else it’s fighting — can’t hide.

He still thought the army should use mechs after that…

I don’t know. Saying “milk drinker” makes you sound like a total Melvin.

Nah, I’d say that’d be fuel they’re better at dumping into the water than anything. The bombs go into dirt nine times out of ten during practice.

They are one of our more dollar-intensive ordnance delivery vectors.

Wasn’t he one of the guys involved in the Bone Wars in the 1870s-ish? Dude’s name is almost synonymous with the word “dinosaur” in the US.

I think the Dollop did an episode on him.

Not yet, but several states are discussing implementing bans.

“Crystal Triangle.” Japanese Indiana Jones has to fight off the world’s governments and the cabal-of-Jews-that-control-everything to capture the 11th Commandment from God in his spaceship. So terrible it has to be seen to be believed, just stick around for God.

For a great lesser know Columbo-style mystery, “They Were Eleven.” The ten most intelligent and talented students from ten solar systems in a hyper-meritocratic galactic civilization have to solve who the mole is in their class (which contains an unheard of eleventh person) before graduating from the academy and assuming their role in space government.

I enjoyed “Giant Gorg” recently, like Scooby Doo meets Johnny Quest with a robot. Also, “Black Jack” is a classic.

My wife loves the “Five Star Stories” OVA and “Legend of the Galactic Heroes,” and “Record of Lodoss War,” thought the last two are probably pretty well known.

Beer can missile!

If you can choke down Macross/Gundam you should try on Dunbine, Orguss, Xabungle and Megazone 23.

Eva wouldn’t exist without it. Anno ripped everything off from it and 70s super robo stuff. Also check out Nadia if you want a failed prequel to Eva.

Ah man, I remember going to Braves games in the 80s and the stadium being half as full as that one. Nostalgia!
