I was getting errors until I deleted my cookies. Try that and see if it works.

Never heard of Lemmy or the Fediverse until recent times.

The AMA has led some subreddits to not only go private early, but to also state that it would be indefinite until there were changes. /r/videos is the biggest one I know. So we'll probably have another wave if it gets bad enough / there is admin intervention.

Been on reddit for almost a decade. Watched it fall from a great website to the current day shithole. I'm relieved actually.

See that "A:"?. He edited it out of his comment. Copying / pasting canned "answers".

Looks like it's been here for a while (worldbuilding), just isn't that active.

Windows because my favorite games don't work on it and neither does any of Adobe's apps.
I'm thinking about buying a used mac because I'll need it for crossplatform testing of apps.

Takes some getting used to. But I love how the communities don't feel like an echo chamber.

Ever since I got my first laptop when I was a young teenager it's been Firefox. With Google exploring deleting blockers like uBlock Origin I see no reason to switch.

When I was in community college the teachers made homework / quizzes 30% of our grade. That homework was locked behind a pin code that could only be accessed by buying the textbook. Mess up on one test and that was an automatic failure (C's minimum to transfer). COVID came along and I dropped school altogether. Seems its only getting worse. Not sure if I even want to go back.
