Vivid dreams all night have left me feeling exhausted.

Crazy DreamsDreams about attending a Mandy Lee Brooks ghost meditation (she sucked, she just rambled), running 3km with my cousin in strappy sandals, hiding on board a boat/plane and having to convince the pilot who caught me that I was just in my Whacky Adventure Era (thankfully he believed me - might have helped that I'd rescued a tiny dog) and getting invited to eat at some super exclusive restaurant. It all happened in the same dream, all disjointed themes but flowing together. The colours were so intense and there was always water everywhere.

Followed by a dream about friends who had little gadget like brooms that could erase the world. And trying to run away from my own wedding because my mother was about to ruin it. Or maybe I was running towards it but trying to ditch my mum?

Am so so tired now.

Was bracing myself for a nasty rental increase, looking at another (almost identical) unit that's gone up for rent in my area, but have been offered another year with a $10 increase. Very very surprised and pleased by that!

Alfie did similar with tinsel.I once used a tinsel wall (so long strands of tinsel) to do some Christmas photos and turned my back on Alfie for one moment. Heard some weird chewing, turned back and sure enough he's chewing the tinsel. I grabbed it and started pulling it out of this month... and kept pulling... and kept pulling. I can't believe how fast he managed to gobble it down!! Absolute buggers!

Christmas was a sore spot until I realised that everyone has a different way of viewing Christmas and I chose to make my own. I have friends with those "picture perfect" families who are so dragged down by the day and appearances. Personally, my favourite Christmas is the one I can spend eating mac n cheese in my pyjamas.

No, you can't outrun not having a family. But you can choose to have your own traditions, with Gibson, with the strays, with the DT, with a favourite game or book or movie. With knowing that you are an AMAZING person who is treasured!

Oooh that'd be irritating!! Why the change?! Going out vs at home is very different, let alone the cuisine!! One needs notice for something like that!
