Those two examples have an “o” after the “h”. Are there any other words starting “he” that Americans treat the “h” as silent?
I lived in Philly for years and never noticed the way people say “erbs” but since returning to Australia I hear it constantly.
Edit: I hear Americans say it constantly. No one in Australia says “erb”.
You’re being downvoted but that’s almost certainly where the risk is - people not washing their hands after touching the eggs. As someone with our own hens, we’re 100% used to having to wash our hands after handling eggs, but most people we know are blithely unaware of the risk.

It is gross and wrong on all levels. The hidden agenda in there relates to the colour of the youth offenders skin, which unsurprisingly is not white, just to add an extra layer of shittiness to the whole thing.
What makes it all the more shitful is that there IS no youth crime problem in Queensland. It was a beat up by the Conservative Party during the last state election (which they won because Queenslanders are the inbred yokel state of Australia).
Queensland is the Texas of Australia so no surprise they’ve gone down this path. The newly elected conservative state government won on “hard on crime” bullshit rhetoric. Queensland has done this before and suffered the consequences of their actions; the same will happen again this time.

Yep me too. Wife was adamant her phone was spying on her so we decided to test it by talking about Lexus cars (having chosen cars because at the time she was getting no car ads anywhere, had no interest in cars, and she had never heard of the brand before so certainly hadn’t searched for it). A few hours later, her Facebook feed was full of Lexus ads. 100%.
