Are you talking about dedi or vps? Lowest dedi on OVH seems to be an E3-1245 with 2TB HDD 32GB RAM for 47 EUR. Choosing SSD (240GB) adds another 12 EUR. Lowest on Hetzner - at the moment - is an E3-1275 with 64GB and 512GB NVMe for 37 EUR. Plus the Hetzner has GBit, while OVH is on 250MBit.

Have to check OVH VPS though.

Orb is a free and open source web desktop, which simulates a Windows-like desktop in a web browser. You can use it to access files on a server or a NAS in an easy and secure way.

Freier Wille, eigene Meinung, etc.. alles gut.

I am using cifs. There may be some ups and downs, depending on decryption, filesize and stuff, but in general I can pretty much use the full Gbit connection. The lowest transfer I can remember was 58 or 59 MB/s when I transfered a lot of small files.

Actually that's not a problem on mastodon, as you can always add some relays and automatically fill up your federation timeline.

If you want to selfhost in general and/or to have control over your content, yes. If you want to explore photos and find new content you are probably better off joining one of the bigger communities.

But it's really good in faking knowledge. Very often it sounds legit, even though it's just some made up bs. You read it, it's wrong, but it still sounds like it's legit. Read about a judge or lawyer using it to provide old cases as precedent and CGPT made up some old case and case numbers. Still it was used in court till it turned out such cases never existed.

TimeShift never felt as bad to me as a lot of people said it is. Was pretty good actually and I had fun playing it.

Also Bionic Commando didn't score that high on metacritics but I liked it very much and played it like 3 or 4 times (completed it).

Back in the days of C64 I had those two games called "Ace of Aces" and "Wings of Fury" which most of my friends hated. I didn't understand the topic or why I had to shoot others, but I played those games over and over again.
