well okay, indeed I was wrong it seems tied to signing, however I thought Mozilla revoked that signature once it removed it from their store.

That’s plain wrong ? Last time I checked you can only do that on developer edition of Firefox otherwise you can only install it as a « temporary extension » that remove itself on next restart. Unless I’m missing something ?

Also a large portion is owned by Tencent with whom Discord is allowed to share all the data they want according to their ToS.

Same issue in safari iOS. I don’t want to use an extension for that.

hi, the new update entirely broke lemm.ee for me, as my main language is not English. I can see a JavaScript error when page loads.

I can confirm the page loads perfectly fine if I set my browser Accept-Language header to 'en-US'.

The error happens for both language I tried (es-ES and fr-FR). Reverting the browser back to English and everything loads fine.

Not sure if it's a lemmy issue or lemm.ee one and somehow some are files missing.

Temporary fix is to set language to English in profile. Unfortunately it's not do-able if your browser language is set to another language than English, as it will break setting page js code during load. Thus, you need to temporarily set your browser main language to English before doing the needed change in your lemmy's settings.
