So, you're a klutz who is prone to dropping your phone, and might want to sell your device later on, and still you're asking to go caseless? A case isn't just to protect against drops, but it's also helpful for grip as well. If you care at all about your device and actually plan on selling it, just use a case. If you didn't plan on selling it eventually, I don't see the problem but if that's your goal then your best interest is a case. Even if it's just a thin one.

I mean, if people are still buying Apple cases despite the numerous known issues, it's almost like they're asking for it. There are countless other cases available online for around 60 bucks, and yet they opt for those subpar Apple ones.
I use Mous Limitless and Otterbox Defender Series whenever I buy a phone. You can’t really go wrong with either. When I feel like being a bit more minimalist, I use Pitaka.
