The letters contain a cryptic note and a “suspicious powdery substance” They were addressed to former President Donald Trump, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and other high-profile individuals. Investigators have not determined who is sending them or the motive behind the dispatches.. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation announced that the FBI is taking the leading in the investigation, the KBI said in a statement. The substances tested have not been deemed explosive.
