I never heard of the decemberists, but there a band called The Crane Wives. But I looked up the decemberists and they have an album called the Crane Wives and it was pretty good.

Ribs from The Crane Wives, at the moment.

I recently had one of like, a fatal disease that took the form of sort of like water droplets that were size of a hand. it could get large in blobs to or get into large strands, and it kind of just floated in the air. Moving around or staying still. The liquid was like a dark dark blue, and it was kind of intelligent? Something like that and a lot of places were closed off and if you went outside you had to wear this special suit or something. I dunno, I kind of forgot some of it.

That fits well with when I was talked to my mom about this. She thought those other countries medical care system were the worst and that if we had anything like that, it would ruin our precious predatory debt gouging system. She thought we lived in one of the best countries on this planet when it's like, no we don't, we live in one of the most evil. It also kind of makes me sad she believed that we lived on the best country on the world because before she passed away this year, she had like so much medical debt and she was worried of going homeless. I dunno, it just really upsetting.

Sometimes it kind of of makes me feel really irritated in a way because like, a lot of these people who are so overly concerned over "tankies", don't have that energy directed at fascists or reactionaries? They seem more concerned over "tankies" than reactionaries or fascists who are in power in various places and are hurting people. Like they will make a post or whatever denouncing "tankies", but where is that towards fascists? or reactionaries? If anything all they do is help fascists and reactionaries whether they are aware of that or not.

Thanks, I hope you're feeling good to or at least managing, since that heat over there sounds very rough to deal with. Hopefully you get some rain over there to as well and it cools off over there to.

That's okay, sorry maybe I should've said where in my original comment. it would be somewhere in the United States

[–] SunsetFruitbat@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 2 years ago

Rain, rain and even more rain. However the sun is out right now so that pretty cool, but then it's gonna rain again. At least it's been warm. However it's normally the opposite in this time of year where it's hot, dry and cloudless.

I'm gonna stop engaging since it feels like I shouldn't reply, I'm also really sleepy and I might be poorly articulating myself again, but I just want to say like. No one here literally thinks China and Russia are perfect countries that has done no wrong. That just ideological nonsense and not grounded in reality. You can find criticism of Russia or China on here if you use the search here. I saw a discussion on here about criticism of Stalin weeks ago. Along with that, said criticism are informed and not influenced by western or anticommunism propaganda or capitalist propaganda. There is a ton of western and anticommunism propaganda out there. Like seriously there a ton.

But to add, no country is perfect, there gonna be mistakes. However what tends to happen is like. The west tends to make mountains out of mole hills, twists what actually happen or makes non-existent things that never even happen, see Radio Free Asia that's ran by the CIA. Another example, the United States said how Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, but they didn't, yet people still trust the U.S or it's media that pushed it? Why wouldn't the United States and western media also mislead/lie about Russia or China to?

Another issue with "criticism" of these places is that a lot are unfounded and are used to push imperialism, capitalism, and colonialism and their apologia. The U.S accusing Iraq of having WMD's is an example of that to, as it help pushed for an invasion into Iraq. There are plenty of other examples out there to, too many to count.
