52% of turnout, which is 72.21% or eligible voters, which is only ~71% of the total population.

Reminder that there was never an actual majority for Brexit, let alone the hard brexit that we ended up with, and our politicians continue to pander to a minority of extremely hateful right wingers for reasons that escape the majority of the population.

Having been, he 100% brought that in. The food in all the venues has been terrible without exception, however this is still a great idea

I think it is generally because of our deeply capitalist society and upbringing that we are told to believe people are greedy and selfish, therefore we must be greedy and selfish ourselves in order to not get taken advantage of, or replaced.

Why even specifically mention AI? Are there already laws that cover creating a sexually explicit likeness without consent e.g. with photoshop or just painting one? If so why wouldn't those laws also cover AI and if not why wouldn't the law also wish to cover these cases?

Why would they be 'chasing' any voters with up to 5 years until the next election? How about do your jobs and represent the people who did vote for you in opposition of the government? Then you might win back some respect of the electorate.

I thought the whole point of 5 year terms was to avoid the constant election cycle.

Liberal is the opposite of authoritarian. Progressive is the opposite of conservative. American 1 dimensional politics does not define all of political conversation.

Surely this can be solved by randomizing the order they appear on the ballot for each person? Then the impact would be negligable

I wouldn't read too much into the Sun endorsement. Murdoch hates to be wrong, and they would have come out in favour much earlier in the campaign if they were actually ideologically aligned.

And are you being paid more for your increased productivity, or is your company stealing that value?
