Not really. Reddit had an amazing mobile site. It was recently removed though. RIP reddit.com/.compact
On mobile, browsers provide critical accessibility. Notifications are actually a reason for me not to use apps. I don't want to be notified all the time about everything.
I stole it myself from a German tech support story page called daujones.de, so go ahead.
Honestly surprised old.reddit is still around, seeing how they certainly dont like users using anything but their own inferior app.

Because reddit ended support for the old, usable mobile page. The one that ends in .compact. Because I don't always have a stable internet connection and the new mobile page is as stable as a pig on stilts. Because the new page is a fucking disgrace!
