What about Princess Donut the Queen Anne Chonk?
I still suspect the entire thing was a marketing ploy. That they had no intention of ACTUALLY changing the logo. They just wanted people to push back so they could get in the news. I wouldn’t be surprised if the marketing firm that made the logo also started the backlash.
I suspect the same is true about American Eagle’s Sydney Sweeney ad.
I’ll always remember him for Mario and Luigi being tied up in this image.

Because there need to be reasons to participate in society properly. If it’s “we’re cutting you off from all trade and never restarting it,” there’s no incentive for them to change their behavior. Sanctions always give a reason.
Punishment isn’t a good motivator of human behavior, reinforcement is.
Man, after playing with the Steam Deck I have a hard time imagining any handheld PC that doesn’t have Valve’s phenomenal trackpad. It’s the only way I want to use a mouse cursor on a handheld now. So I definitely won’t “upgrade” to the Xbox-branded thing (even if I have been an “Xbox guy” since forever).

Oh that poor mother.
You're thinking of other types of AI like machine learning.
That’s all generative AI is. Machine learning applied to tasks like image generation and text generation. It’s all the same stuff. The difference between something that detects parts of an image and something that generates parts of an image is in application.
Edit: Why am I getting downvoted? I’m not making any value statements about generative AI here.
The real class war will be between people who ate yesterday and people who did not eat yesterday.
The billionaire class wants you to think someone with a million dollars is your enemy. And they want the millionaire to think you are their enemy.
But you know what the difference between a million dollars and a billion dollars is? About a billion dollars.
The enemy is the ultrawealthy, and the more we remind the vaguely rich about this, the better our chances of actually changing things. At least that’s how I see it.
She resembles the cat from Dungeon Crawler Carl, which is an audiobook you should very much listen to. (The book itself is good, but the audiobook is one of the best I’ve ever heard).
