Do you use cloudfare tunnel or a vpn like tailscale or wireguard ? Why would you choose of these over the other? in c/main@selfhosted.forum

I use both. Cloudflare is for public facing services. Like overseerr and wizarr.

Tailscale is how I access my private services and dashboards.

What operating system do you use for your home server? I’m planning to do unraid but what are the other options and why would you pick one or another? in c/main@selfhosted.forum

Homeserver? Surely you mean home serverS.

Proxmox, unraid. Ubuntu server vms

Jellyfin isn’t even close to the level of polish and ease of use as plex. It’s junk when compared side by side.

Not to start a flame war, but WD or Seagate for 20TB drives? (no shucking) in c/homelab@selfhosted.forum

Had a lot of wd fail over the years. Since upgrading to Seagate exos only. Haven’t had any failures. Maybe due to the fact they are enterprise drives. Not sure. But very happy with Seagate exos
