I like your pose in the window there. It's very "howdy, neighbor" deng-cowboy

Yeah, making Jack and Kim get permission to not be called John and Kimberly is actually encouraging--there are some people at least who aren't using the law solely to harass trans kids.

Tbh, this is probably the malicious compliance I was hoping would happen

how I feel about bitch really depends on how it's used, so I'd be fine with not adding it. But I'm not gonna fight if people want to add it either.

Yeah, the reason why I worded it like that is that the old trope of "the disappearing indian" still gets used these days to be like "well that was bad, but they're all gone now, so whatcha gonna do????" As if there aren't indigenous people still living here, and tribes that reparations could be made to. So I'm careful to not give the impression that I'm in agreement with that.

But you do have a valid point. The US put A LOT of effort to genociding as many Native Americans as they could, and sadly they were very successful in killing an astounding number of people.

I love the "salad" that bears no resemblance to a salad aside from the fact that it's a jumble of things and it's served cold. Also I love every casserole. I'm beyond shame

I would like to formally recognize Tornado Alley and The Rust Belt as regions that overlap the Midwest somewhat. I think this might partially be where the confusion over places like Pittsburgh and Kansas are coming from.

My trusty Samsung Galaxy S7 that I bought in 2017 is bricked and now I must buy a new phone. What are the recommendations of the hexbear community for a replacement? I was satisfied with my elderly phone except that there was a lot of junk that came with the phone that I couldn't delete, and for the last couple years or so I've had to delete an app before I could add an app, so that was kind of annoying. But other than that, I was happy with it, so I don't need the newest coolest thing.
