It was before and I got told that it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. I was genuinely so pissed when they announced "uhhh actually guys theres a problem we knew about haha :-)"

a series are just "budget"models, they're not smaller AFAIK.
There really are no options for people who want smaller phones. I thought the size of the 4a was perfect, wasn't happy when I had to "upgrade" to the 6a. My upgrade path at this point is the Fairphone line and those are even bigger. Life is hard for those with small hands or elastic-band pants. (seriously my phone is constantly pulling out my ass crack cuz of how big it is in my pocket.)
you joke but my 4a almost did this. the damn charger port melted
its also using fanart of 10+ year old shows as examples
System Settings > About Phone > Device Details Category > Battery Information
I'm using Calyx but I assume that its also the same on Graphene, lineage, AOSP, /e/ so on and so fourth.
edit: I dont know why I got downvoted, I'm sorry you dont have this menu also ???
Other than the Destiny debate which he has sense apologized for saying he was stupid and out of his depth, was there something else he did?
(other than beat Suzy and leave game grumps or whatever the people over at conspiracy grumps used to say /j lmao)

for those of you affected in the us, you can get a free battery repair, $100 cash or $150 in store credit (lmao)
kcalc 4 me
Had mine since late '22. I'm at 1k cycles, so yeah. about a year. Maybe a little less, because I dont charge my phone overnight, and I only charge it to 80%.
It never got the maintenance update. This happened in 2022, and it made more sense financially for me to purchase a new phone than try getting my entire 4a mobo repaired (which is all google was offering me. a repair I had to pay out of pocket)
