Thanks, I'll look and see if theres a local chapter in my area. Ive been meaning to get more involved in local politics, its just hard to find a comfortable group of people to get in with in my experience. Would love to find out I can actually join people in something meaningful :)

I mean I dont disagree with you. I try to minimize those risks as much as I can in my life. I run CalyxOS, only run FOSS apps, keep airplane mode on unless I'm out & expecting a call, keep location off unless I need a GPS. I get your point though, I'm in the minority on that.
If there was a Pi Zero on par with the Pi 4 I'd definitely be making my own "phone" though. i hate knowing part of my phone is a google black box.

It's closer to Win8's Metro and Win10s FluentUI more than Vista's Aero but your point still stands. These are decade old design philosophies.
it's an improvement but I'm still not happy about these huge ass buttons in the notification shade that could easily be half the size. Theres so much wasted space. I used to be able to access 6 quick tiles in the minimized shade. now its 4. Used to have 9-12 tiles on a full shade. now we have 8.
If you're going to continue to make 6"+ phones, USE THE SCREEN SPACE FOR FUCKS SAKE
