I despise the liberals that voted for Hillary/Biden during the primaries more than the right just doing what conservatives always do. I never expected anything other than the current hate and ignorance from the right - but to see so many people who claimed to be on the left fall in line behind whoever the DNC/media coronated, and talking about Bernie like he was unrealistic or crazy, killed whatever hope I had for this country.
Ranked voting should really be at the top of our priority list. Would allow more than 2 parties to be viable and give progressives a real chance to distinguish themselves from the neolibs.

You're right, it's way worse. And it's disturbing that we're culturally encouraged to find fun in violence but sex needs to be cordoned off to a containment genre and excised from mainstream art. I'm not saying it needs to be in every action movie - but its been obvious for a while they're going out of their way to avoid it even in places where it would make sense or be fun.
As a fan of Greek mythology - if you don't think sex can drive a plot you need to read more stories.
If we had had that attitude when fascism was on the rise in Europe we would never have gotten Einstein or Tesla or half of our best and brightest.
We became so much better by taking in anti-facist refugees in the past, it's funny and sad to see these edgy comments when the situation is reversed. I'm proud we weren't so stupid in our history, we benefited greatly from taking them.
