Yeah I swapped pfsense for opnsense last saturday because local dns was shitting the bed. I'm not completely satisfied with opnsense but whatever.

What File system protocol do you use in c/main@selfhosted.forum

SMB for windows clients, NFS for Linux clients.

I find Proxmox a lot easier to learn, you don't need to worry about deploying a management interface and it has ZFS support.
