My peanut butter Benedict was indistinguishable from my regular eggs Benedict so I don't think you have a clue what you're talking about.

It's Finland.

In most of the world, a a nations military is designed like a Swiss army knife: to be able to do many different things should the need arise. Equipment/training is designed for a broad range of domestic and global scenarios.

When you border Russia, your military is designed to do exactly one thing.

The one who got his ass beat by the battlestar Galactica robot at bi-mon-sci-fi-con?

I wanna say... "Steve?"

If you read the article, he's not accusing Biden of anything.

He's saying that Biden wasn't behind the things he PREVIOUSLY was railing on him over (the border specifically) and saying his team and advisors "took over" the presidency behind the scenes, and it was their agenda that they snuck behind Biden's back because they knew he was too sick to notice.

So, I agree every accusation is an admission, but it's important to actually read the accusations so you know what Trump is admitting to: in this case it's being old and senile and his administration is taking advantage of him and are pushing their own agendas behind his old and senile back.

The average cubic meter of space has about 6 protons worth of mass in it.

I always assumed adblocks already were first-passing against known-advertizing patterns and then rewriting the DOM on the fly. I'm surprised that a vision model would be more performant given that it's still going to have to adjust the DOM anyways.

I actually would be pretty happy if my browser could detect and block ads.

But they put a fuck ton of work in to not only NOT do that, they expend material efforts fucking with extensions and other tooling that provide that functionality.

Someone made that point w/ autos, and I pointed out that even though by any standard of individual wealth they're exorbitant, they still only work out to a couple dollars per unit. A 20% teriff on aluminum and steel would still obliterate per-unit savings if the c-suite stopped being paid at all.

Depends on the items. Some things have tight enough margins that they'll have to be raised.

I expect some companies will try to cut costs by cannibalizing themselves in the short term by cutting workforce. Nobody intends to report to their shareholders that profits are down.

Our city leaves free dirt out at the fire station for people to spread on their sidewalks in the winter. I grabbed some for the back ally which is very icy.

I probably only grabbed 30 lbs or so, but I was still very diligent to lift it properly. Last thing I need over the holidays is to have a sore back.

I know that the CTrain reminders to not forget your newspapers when leaving the train have been overwhelmingly successful because I haven't seen a newspaper on the train even one time in the last 10 years.
