I was banned from reddit for talking about politics (I am anti trump) on the air force reddit so I wasn't even able to comment on a post about me.

I know this is Lemmy and Reddit is bad etc., but FYI when you get banned from one subreddit by its mods, it doesn't ban you from the entirety of Reddit. You could comment if you wanted.

I think I'm like a 3 or 4.

I remember some years back there was a "test" going around the internet where you were supposed to picture an apple moving off a table in your head, and then it would ask you "ok what did the person pushing the apple look like, what color were their clothes, etc." and I thought "oh shit do I have aphantasia?"

Later I realized that couldn't be entirely true since I do picture characters in books, although I always picture them as an actor or another character from a comic/show/movie, never as an original face.

If that was his 5D chess masterplan, why is he currently in panic mode, calling the coalition "unnatural", painting it far-left, and calling for a fight against "all extremes"?

Likelier he expected the RN to take it, after which they would have 3 years to show their colors, making them less likely to win the 2027 presidential elections. It was a stupid risky move.

Really interesting video from a very small channel that I discovered recently. It's about localizing "mouth sounds" and why Little Mac sounds Japanese in Smash Bros even though he doesn't have a single voice line.

The Dude seems to be trying to fence sit on extremely vitriolic transphobia and refusing to listen to the trans folks who are trying to warn everyone

That seems to be the consensus but I don't see where it comes from yet? This latest thing seems to have happened over the course of a day and their last message is 2 days ago.

For the "the donald" thing they appeared after a bit like "hey, catching up on everything, obviously it's gonna go". Seems likely the same would happen here? Just feels like a busy regular guy who could use some mods.

Unless there's some non-public stuff I'm not aware of as a newcomer?

You'd think that handling pizza slices and handling boardgame components at the same time would be a recipe for disaster but it works pretty well somehow. They have a good collection of games and the pizzas are great too.

That's a bit far-fetched. The name "shit just works" doesn't have any right-wing connotations. If you google it you get Bethesda memes and some Apple stuff.

I think the admin is just one dude who wasn't prepared for their instance to become so big. So far they've done the right thing given a couple days. Yesterday I saw an "anti vax" community on sh.itjustwor.ks, I reported it, today it's gone.

Until I see an actual "actually we should debate the Nazis" comment from them or maybe like a week has passed without action I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt.
