If the watch is covered up enough that the ambient sensor doesn’t register the daylight, how much daylight are you getting?

I got it today wearing the sport loop, so it’s just random I think.

If you can’t see the difference in your TV, that’s the way to go.

If you can’t tell the difference due to the TV, it doesn’t matter. If you can tell the difference, set it to what you prefer.

I’m having the same issue — However I have not updated to watchOS 10 yet.

I’m convinced the issue is iOS 17.1 after reading several reports of fast watch battery drain.
